Trekking Fox - Hot Shot

Relevant links

On 5th November 1993 I bought my first a MTB bike: Trekking Fox - Hot Shot. After that I found a review of this bike in a bike magazine Peleton (7/1993), which described the bike like a first-rate bike of medium class with classical sport's frame geometry. Shifters' levers operating was comfort and very easy to get to used.

The bike I had to supply with such equipment like a light, mud-guards, speedometr, baskets for bottles,.. During ten years of use I had to change only tires, brake nogs, chains...

I made so far with this bike three long-distance trips. First of all was like a testy drive around northern part of Bohemia from Nová Paka to Aš and back. Than I wanted to visit dolomite in Italy. So far i did not make that trip, but a bike took a look over the Atlantic Ocean to New England, 1999 and California, 2001.

Hot Shot is a comfort bike for short and long trips. Only what i missed during sharp off-road drives was front's suspension. When I had a clash with bridge fence on August 6th 2003, I damaged fork. That I took like a signal to make a big renovation. I changed a complete driving system, rear wheel, fork, brakes... I decided to make the bike a special for a long journeys and to buy a new one.
