Bear Butte - Mato Paha - lying bear is 1 328 m high hill that is growing from total flat ground. For some Native Americans - several tribes, Dakota, Cheyenne,... is still this hill secret place. You can see them do their ceremonials, so as you can see a lot of hung a secret things on trees. Tourists are asked to do not take detail pictures of these things and don't disturb them. A few bisons are along access road.
