Although short distance just 16 km from Canyonlands park we had to go around 100 km. The park lies atop an underground salt bed, which is basically responsible for more than 2 000 arches. Park spreads on 298 km². The longest arch - Landscape Arch is long 100 m. On the opposite end od park is camp. It is usually full and it is impossible make reservation. Summer daytime temperature can reach 43 oC so a better season for visit is spring or fall. In park is a few trails that length varied from 0,5 km to 8 km.
